Well, this was unexpected. We get very little coach over here, so to find a black Leigh which is hard to find in America was very surprising. There was only one in the entire shop, and it was the only leather coach item available, all the rest where signature bleecker duffles and satchels. I never thought of buying a Leigh, they seemed so expensive, and I tended to sway towards bleecker, however seeing it in real life it is so different and a million times cuter. Being black it goes with almost everything, it can be used for everyday or more formal use, and it has plenty of space without being too bulky. It sits nicely as a shoulder bag, however the strap is not too long for it to be hand held either. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another in a different colour.
I got this from TK Maxx, Almondvale Livingston, Scotland for £150 ($259), (RRP = $658; outlet price $399). The quality of the legacy leather is amazing and well worth the money. (This was the same place as my other unexpected find the British Tan wristlet, which was also a great deal).
This has to be one of the gems in my collection, if not the gem.
It has most of the monkeys and both the sasquatches and Sandy, which seem to be the more popular characters of the print, on both sides of the bag. Unfortunately it doesn't have the albino monkey reading a book on it, it only shows a bit of the side of his head which is a shame. It is a used bag (as I couldn't afford new due to normally costing close to/if not $300) yet it is in seriously good condition, this girl obviously takes care of her Toki. It came with all the tags and the Qee separately also. This is also my first Ciao Ciao, and I am a lot happier with it then I thought I would be. A lot of people moan about them being awkward and stuff, but I find it handy.
I bought this off mynxiepop.
Oh and behind the scenes photo of how photos are uploaded at la casa Sjeel:
My cat does all the technical stuff, I just can't quite work it out!
My uni bag finally arrived!
This is one of the first Tokidoki bags I bought and it has only just arrived, it has been ages. I got this originally because I wanted something Tokidoki but also subtle for uni, so I thought this was a good option, even though I wasn't over the moon about the print to start with. However in person it is a seriously nice print! It is more subtle in colour and the illustration, however it hasn't lost the cuteness of the Tokidoki characters. I think for those Toki fans after something a little more conservative for work etc they cannot lose with this print.
I got this from beautifully*big*duds. I did get tax on it however bag was below retail even with shipping to the UK so really I can't complain.
Oh and one last picture:
After the excitement I have had waiting for my Trasporto Campeggio, I must admit I am dissapointed! It has a print positioning I do not like so much and it came with a scuff on a bit of the leather!! I am very deflated. It may grow on me, who knows.
So I gave it to my mum and she loves it! So all is not lost. I would really love a corriere in this print!
Pictures as per usual.
She is using it as a travel bag, so all the transport on it is fitting :]
